This study is investigating the potential of photobiomodulation (near-infrared laser) to reduce pelvic pain. We have been utilizing this revolutionary technology for the last 4 years with excellent published clinical results. Unfortunately, it has not been covered by insurance and involved significant out-of-pocket costs to our patients. We are now offering the treatment without cost for participating in an FDA approved randomized study.
The VOICE trial is enrolling adult women with chronic pelvic pain, regardless of the cause. Participants will receive eight treatments, administered twice a week for approximately four weeks, and will be compensated for their time. The study is being conducted in our clinic.
